The Contours of Campus at Night
This is a photo series I did at night in Tempe with two friends. It visualizes a night of quiet exploration on the deserted ASU campus. Through this stills, the collection blends fun moments between friends with subtle patterns. From the palm trees to the unique architecture of the campus, each picture shows both structure and spontaneity.
All of these photos were taken by me. I edited them by cropping as needed, adjusting contrast, and tweaking the white balance. I took advantage of many composition techniques, including employing the rule of thirds and using leading lines. Other elements in the series include leading lines, texture/pattern, worm’s eye view, and more. The photos are mostly medium shots, but I included some close-ups and wide shots. I experimented with both shallow and great depth of field. To view captions, hover over each photo.

Editing Photos: NBA Players Up Close
These are five photos of NBA players up close that I have taken throughout the years. I edited these by changing the contrast and cropping every photo to have a 1:1 aspect ratio. This is perfect for a platform like Instagram, where you would want all of your photos to have a similar aspect ratio as people scroll through the post's carousel. I also adjusted the brightness on photos 1, 3, and 5. Hover over each photo to see its title and description.
